That’s where the R&R Reset: Asian Bodywork Session comes in.
This isn’t your typical “lay there and get rubbed” massage. It’s a therapeutic blend of Tui Na, Shiatsu, Thai massage, and Amma therapy. Rooted in the wisdom of East Asian medicine; these traditions have been refined over centuries, and they work on two levels at once:
Physically: loosening tight muscles, improving circulation, opening up stiff joints.
Energetically: restoring flow along your body’s meridian pathways so your system feels balanced and steady again.
What’s actually happening during your session
Here’s the behind-the-scenes magic:
Tui Na techniques — rolling, pressing, and kneading that wake up your muscles and stimulate your body’s “qi” (think: your internal battery). This helps clear out those stubborn knots and gets everything humming again.
Shiatsu compression — slow, steady palm pressure along meridian lines that communicates directly with your nervous system. It’s like telling your body, “Hey, it’s safe to relax now.”
Thai-inspired stretches — gentle assisted movements that help open your hips, shoulders, and spine without you having to do any work. Your range of motion improves while you are stretched and breathing.
Amma therapy — circulation-focused techniques that also support your internal organ function. It’s the kind of touch that makes your whole body sigh in relief.
